Christmas Boutique Opening for Fifth Year

LA CROSSE – La Crosse’s ‘one-of-a-kind’ Christmas Boutique is set to open its doors for a 5th straight year.

The Christmas Boutique is an extension of The Salvation Army Thrift Store, but only sells Christmas merchandise.  The store, located in the storefront on 66 Copeland Avenue, offers new and gently used decorations along with other assorted items at low prices.  All items for sale are donated.

“It’s your one-stop-shop for all things Christmas,” said Nick Ragner of The Salvation Army. “Christmas trees, nutcrackers, indoor and outdoor decorations, even ‘ugly’ Christmas sweaters – you name it, we have it.”

The Christmas Boutique is set to open on Tuesday, October 17th and will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm and on Saturdays from 10:00am-4:00pm until Saturday, December 23rd

Donations of new or gently used Christmas items will be accepted at the store, or at The Salvation Army Thrift Store (728 Copeland Avenue, La Crosse).  Proceeds from the Christmas Boutique benefit the day-to-day operations at The Salvation Army of La Crosse.

“Get everything you need to properly celebrate Christmas and know that you’re helping someone in need with every dollar spent,” said Ragner.

For more information on the Christmas Boutique, visit to www.SalvationArmyLaCrosse.org.

The Christmas Boutique is run by one full-time Salvation Army staff member.  To keep up with sales and donations, volunteers are needed.  To sign up, call 608-782-6126 or email Volunteer Coordinator Alex Riley at alex_riley@usc.salvationarmy.org.
